happy birthday to me!

the weather outside is a warm 55 degrees (ha, ha), with a high of only 69. the sky is overcast, and its rainy. weatherbug calls it "low clouds and fog with only partial afternoon clearing. Patchy drizzle in the morning." Lovely. At first when I got out of bed and saw that it was like this outside, I was a bit disappointed. But oddly enough, when I got on my bicycle to ride here, the smell of the outdoors (and the look of it, too) reminded me strongly of home. And so, I consider that a birthday present.
